Like my original designs, I made this hand embroidered tie patch to be easily hand stitched onto the back of your man's tie, but it can be used in other ways too.
Many brides also put the patch on jackets and vests, or to add something blue to the inside of their wedding gowns. I've even made patches for bridesmaids dresses and made sweet patches to put inside the mother of the bride's dress. Not only do boys get the love! Girls too :)
My tie patches are super sturdy and easy to use. When you order, I include patch installation instructions. I know you can do it!
All portrait patches are printed and then hand sewn onto ivory or white cotton linen fabric and come in 2 coordinating colors of your choice. One color for the text and one for the heart outline. Text placement depends on your image. Not all images will have room for a date. FYI, only certain colors of thread will show on the image.
Ordering Information:
* You will need to email me your image in a small jpeg format.
* We will contact me directly within 48 hours of each order to request your custom image.
* I recommend you send me 2 images so I can provide the best fit for your requirements.
* When hand sewing portraits, black, blue or red will work best - not all colors will work!
* Each portrait patch will be custom designed to best suit your image and text requirements
* All portrait patches are hand painted and hand written onto your image. This means there is limited space to work with. Keep this in mind when choosing your image.
* Portrait patches can only accommodate up to 5 words. Not all patches are suitable for dates.
* In order to create the best final product, you must be flexible with your image, text, date and color options.

Important information about tie size vs. patch size.
Portrait patches are best used in the largest possible size so that they fit your image and tie correctly.
(3" patches are highly recommended so that the image and text will fit)
+ 3" patches are for standard ties that are 3.5" or larger at the widest point
+ 2.75" patches are for thinner ties that are 3" at the widest point
(Not all images will fit the 2.75" patch)
*I only offer the 2.75" as an option for customers who have limited space on their ties and happen to have images that will fit!
